The cottages of Deepwood Lodges are a great place to getaway and spend time with family or friends. The 17 unique cottages come equipped with a full service kitchen, private bathroom, living/dining areas, 2-4 bedrooms, cable television and electric heat. Many of the cottages come with a gas or wood fireplace for those cool spring or fall evenings.
All cottages share a large sandy beach, swim raft, picnic area, dock and large BBQ grill. Rowboats, kayaks, a sailboat, a canoe and a paddle boat are all available for guests to use at no charge. We can also accommodate personal boats up to 20' but space is limited. In the common shed we have lifejackets for guests to use while boating and there is a wide variety of beach toys and floats for the children and those who are young at heart.
The pine grove is a great place for outdoor activities. There you will find two basketball hoops, a volleyball net, shuffleboard court, horseshoe pit and swings. The private road into Deepwood Lodges makes for a quiet and peaceful place to play.
Many of our guests return year after year and some guests have been coming for over 50 years! People of all ages enjoy their time at Deepwood Lodges. It is a great vacation destination for both couples and families alike.
Spring and fall are also great time to be at the lake. Don't miss the fall Steamboat parade in September or the incredible fall foliage. The spring and fall are a great time for a girls getaway weekend or a chance to spend some time alone for some rest and relaxation. Deepwood Lodges is closed for the winter months.
